    Somebody from the geek squad sent my computer to florida and now my password is not what i left it as. I CANT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING. MY COMPUTER WONT LET ME DOWNLOAD ADOBE FLASH PLAYER BECAUSE I DONT KNOW THE F' PASSWORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NEVER LET GEEK SQUAD FIX YOUR STUFF. THEY SUCK.   • Complete lie from Geek Squad repair depot.....



    8 days ago my step daughter brought me her new HP laptop that is about 7 months old. Said it wouldn't boot, -I am a hardware tech for a Service tech corporation well know with Dell, Lexmark, Sony ect..- She thought I could fix it but it was under warranty and my wife bought the extended warranty anyway. So I did test and it failed on Hard drive testing. So we take it to the Geek Squad, in which the onsite Geekie, restates that yes it is the hdd and it will have to go to the Geek Depot for a replacement....Well ok.   • Fried My Laptop



    I took my laptop in on 12/08/2012 to be able to download microsoft office student 2010 and my autoplay was not working properly so I took it to Geek Squad at the Deptford Center in Deptfor, NJ. Picked up my pc on 12/11/2012 (3 days later) and my pc supposedly was corrected until I arrived home and saw that a window constantly popped-up, so I took my pc back to the same Geek Squad. They ended up keeping my pc until the next day just to uninstalled a pop-up only to get a phone call from one of the guys of Geek Squad saying that my computer is fried and that it was my mother board.     Not only did I tell them what I thought was wrong with my computer, they wouldn't listen to me , made me feel stupid, like I'm just a crazy lady that do t know what I'm talking about. Not only did I tell them the problem, I showed them hints and clues to the problem, the techs always had an excuse. I found the proof I needed to show them that my laptop had been hacked. Then I had to find the answers in resolving my problem. After 10 restores, reformatting, 3 new hard drives, new LAN connector - I had to tell them his to fix my problem.   • Over 3 hours on hold to schedule in-home repair.



    Don t buy the Best Buy Geek Squad. I WAITED OVER 3 HOURS ON HOLD TO SCHEDULE AN IN-HOME SERVICE APPOINTMENT AND STILL WAITING. At this point I am convinced that no one is there at their 24/7 customer service line OR they intentionally do not answer so they can take money for not providing a service. I called the store and they are adamant that I must stay on the line indefinately until they do answer to schedule an in-home appointment.     I purchased my service to install my home TV almost 2 months ago. They first gave me an appointment 3 weeks after my purchase which i was ok with as i understand that they need time to install TV and/or do other jobs. A day before my appointment i got a phone call that they had to cancel because they were overbooked, first of all didn't they know they were over booked 3 weeks prior to giving me my appointment, who the hell doesnt know how to look at a calendar - oh yes now i know BEST BUY.
